train from Prague to berlin

Hello there,

I wonder if anyone could give me any info on the train from prague to berlin? Basically i know nothing at the min regarding this!! Im wondering if i get the train to berlin does this bring you to central berlin? If so what is that area called and is it within easy access from the train drop off to hotels and tourist attractions of the city where you could pass a few days? Also is there an airport close as id like to fly home out of berlin?

Stations with many hotels nearby are Berlin Friedrichstrasse, Berlin Alexanderplatz, Berlin Zoologischer Garten and Berlin Potsdamer Platz.

Price is the same from Prague to any of these stations. But you will have to change once to get to them.

There are 2 airports in Berlin. Berlin-Tegel (TXL) and Berlin-Schönefeld (SXF).

Berlin is a huge and widespread city, but has an excellent public transport system.
