I wiil be in Warnemunde on June 3 and try to buy the group ticket (lander ticket)on line. However, the shop is in German. Can I buy the group ticket in Warnemunde station?
Thanks.

Yes...I did it last summer, but here is no attended kiosk as far as I could tell. There are only ticket machines. The first one you see takes coins only--the one that takes Euros is located between track 2 and 3, as I recall. But you can go on www.bahn.de and click to English in the upper corner if you would feel more comfortable purchasing online and having it mailed to you. The Laender Ticket would be for Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
BTW, our ship was docked almost within sight of the train station. It was a short walk. I went to Schwerin, with a train change at Rostock. Luebeck would also be a nice destination.

There should be VVW and DB ticket machines. You can buy the Mecklenburg-Vorpommernt Ticket from both, but the DB ticket machines have a touchscreen interface you can change to English. They also accept notes (change is given back only in coins) and credit cards.

Thanks for the detail information. Great help especially, for me, I am not that good with machine.
Thanks. again

For buying train tickets, travel agents are also another option. There will be a small fee for this as you would also have to pay if using a ticket agent at the train station. These travel agents should have a DB sticker in the window.

Travel agents in Amsterdam, Copenhagen or Warnemunde?
When I can find those travel agents with DB in the window?

Certainly in Warnemunde, but I%26#39;ve never really looked for travel agencies that sell tickets for German trains outside of Germany.

thanks. I hope I can find agency in Warnemunde right after I step out of the ship or I have luck to use machine to get the ticket for 5 of us.
