schwaben quellen

My girlfriend and I are going to Stuutgart next month and are planning on going to the schwaben quellen whilst there. Is it worth the trip? How busy does it get during the day/evening and what%26#39;s the average age of the people how go etc? How easy is it to get to from the centre of Stuttgart?

many thanks

The Schwabenquellen ( www.schwabenquellen.de ) is a spa complex in the SI Centrum (large entertainment complex on the south side of Stuttgart, with this spa, two large musical theaters (Wicked and We Will Rock You currently playing), two large hotels, casino, restaurants and movie theaters). It can be reached from central Stuttgart by either taking the S-bahn (S-1,-2, or -3) to Vaihingen then transfering to the U3, or from central Stuttgart take the U-5 or -6 to Moehringen then transfer to the U-3. I%26#39;ve never been to the SI-Centrum so have no further information on it, but it seems to be popular. (You can also google for Schwabenquellen for more information besides the website which is probably only in German.)

Stuttgart has Europe%26#39;s largest mineral waters outside of Budapest. There are also three large mineral baths associated with these on the near northside of Stuttgart in or near the bad Cannstatt area. Information on these and other places in Stuttgart can be found at www.stuttgart-tourist.de .

I haven%26#39;t been to the spa but the rest of the SI centrum complex has as much atmosphere as an airport or shopping mall.

Schwaben Quellen is fantastic - I think it%26#39;s better than the more famous Friedrichsbad in Baden-Baden. The spa has a large number of pools/saunas and sunning areas. There%26#39;s also a cafe/bar where you can get a sandwich and drinks. It%26#39;s all nude, which is the custom in germany, but you get use to that in a few minutes. It%26#39;s worth at least 3-4 hours of just relaxing. They also have spa services, like massages, but they were booked the day I went. The parking is also very easy at the Centrum garage and there are a number of places to eat in the attached shopping complex.

Rollingstone, sounds great. I am in Stuttgart on business and am going to extend the trip to tour.

Any issues with English since my German is limited to travel phrases or a single man visiting?

All help is appreciated.
