Hello,
My husband are in Germany in August for 11 dyas planning 4 or 5 train trips,as follows: GieBen to Rothenburg on der Tauber, Rothenburg to Salzburg, Salzburg to Munich, Munich to Garmish and Munich back to GieBen. I think the German Rail Twin Pass for 5 days of travel in a month would be the best value for us rather than point to point tickets. I did a quick review of the train schedules for second class travel and the rail pass looked quite a bit cheaper. If this doesn%26#39;t sound right, would someone please let me know?
Questions I have are: Where is the best place to buy the twin pass - is it raileurope.com? and what train is the best to take in Germany? I saw that the ICE was more expensive and looks like it%26#39;s faster-is this covered by the rail pass?
Thanks!

ICE trains are covered by a German Rail Pass.
