Is Motel One in Mitte a good place to spend a week in August?

I would say that the location is very central, next to good restaurants, cafes etc.. To the eastern city-center it%26#39;s a walk of aprox. 20 min. Perfect connection to bus and subway in front of hotel.
Maybe a bit noisy, as it is located directly on a busy roundabout.
Can not say anything about the rooms or breakfast.

I stayed at the Motel One in Frankfurt (airport area). It was cheap, attractive, and clean. I%26#39;d go back if they are all similar, which it looks like they are.
Breakfast was a pricey.

We stayed there for 2 nights and thought the hotel was great. Simple, yet modern, reasonable. Rooms were on the small side, but very comfortable. We would not hesitate to stay there again.
As for location, we were new to Berlin and had my cousin as a guide. We just followed him! :) But I do know that there was access tot he train right there by the hotel, so I felt we were close to everything.
