I%26#39;ve spent the last 3 summers trying to convince friends to join me on a backpacking trip somewhere around Europe and I%26#39;ve finally given up on them doing it so I%26#39;m gonna go alone. Probably not the best year considering how weak Sterling is against the Euro so I%26#39;ve decided to head for Eastern Europe were they don%26#39;t use the cursed Euro yet! I%26#39;m gonna start in Passau Germany and cycle along the Danube until I reach Vienna or possibly Bratislava haven%26#39;t decided yet and it%26#39;s only 40miles of difference after that I%26#39;m gonna bus or train it to Budapest or wherever else tickles my fancy, just not sure about things like fares. Is it better to get an Interrail pass or should I do it on my own? I%26#39;m sceptical of the fares posted on websites because after all their geared at tourists. Any advise?...
