BMW Factory Tour

I have mangaged to reserve a tour of the BMW factory - my husband and son are delighted but my teenage daughter is not so delighted....have any ladies been on this tour - would we be better leaving the boys to it and going shopping instead?

Well, if seeing how BMWs are being build does not interest you and your daughter, the you should skip the tour. You need to have some (preferably high) sort of interest in either the end product or the process itself to find the tour interesting. I would not take my wife on the tour eventhough she, too, drives a BMW.

One can for sure enjoy tours without any or much interest in the end product at all.

I enjoy brewery tours, but don%26#39;t drink beer.

I also enjoyed tours through the Olympic Stadium and the Allianz Arena in Munich, albeit I never go to football matches.

The production process of cars has nothing to do with horse power, car racing history or any other %26quot;boy%26quot; specific things. It%26#39;s one of the rather rare opportunity to see such a complex and up-to-date production process.

I would rather join the tour and leave the boys alone for the BMW Museum.

Mmmmm...will have to have a think about it - if it%26#39;s a beautiful day in Munich (We are there for 2 days in July) then perhaps my daughter and I would enjoy having a coffee outside and a walk around Munich - my duaghter is learning German at school...but then we don%26#39;t want to miss on on anything either!

We are two families traveling to Munich in June (4 adults, 4 teens). I booked the factory tour and we are all going. I%26#39;ve traveled with my kids a lot, and I%26#39;ve found they grumble about anything that has the word %26quot;tour%26quot; in it, and then enjoy almost everything we%26#39;ve done. I tell them they can choose the activity on another day, but part of travel is exposure to people/places/things you might not think of seeing.
