I need Tips and advice on Bavarian Alps and surrounding

I will be traveling to the Bavarian Alps in July this year and will be staying at the Familienparadies Neubichler Alm (I have a 3 year old son) My wife and I are into cultural travel, history and are in love with medieval towns. Can anyone give me some advice as where to go around that area. I would be having a car but would not like to travel distances which are more than 1.5 hours max 2 hours. Also, we would love to visit some place maybe a monastery who brew their own beer which we can taste (this would be a bonus)

Thank you all in advance

I think %26quot;Kloster Andechs%26quot; would be the right destination for you.

It is about 160km/100mi away from your Hotel.

For the bonus part maybe check out

Klosterbräu Au am Inn

Google maps shows %26#39;Au am Inn%26#39;, near Wasserburg. The monastery with its brewery and the very yummy beer is the largest part of the village, you can%26#39;t miss it when you get there.
