Schedule questions

I am trying to finalize our trip to Germany for June.

I originally had one day in the Rhine just to see Marksburg and do the river cruise. Not sure whether to leave it or not, but it would be the day of arrival. Otherwise here is what I have come up with.

Day1 Arrive in Frankfurt early

Go to Moselkern to see Burg Eltz

and stay for the night in Beilstein.

(We will have a car)

Day2 Drive to Rothenburg

Crime and Punishment Museum

Alter at St. Jakob%26#39;s

Night Watchmans Tour

Day3 Drive to Munich

Deutches Museum and whatever time allows

Day4 Berchtesgaden/Lake Konigssee

Day5 Salzburg/Hallstatt (Sleep in Berchtesgaden)

Day6 Fussen (Castles)

Day7 Can either spend 1 more day in Germany or

depart to Switzerland.

Thank you for your input.

Thanks for your input.

going to be a bit busy!

As much as I enjoy the Rhine, Mosel and the Burg Eltz, I think I would probably cut that out and head directly to Rothenburg (maybe by way of Heidelberg). Plan some stops along the way, the Neckar leaving Heidelberg has some interesting sights and you can go this direction to Rothenburg.

I think that your schedule for B%26#39;gaden, Salzburg and Hallstadt, Fuessen might be a bit too ambitious also.

Might want to narrow it down a bit. You will be spending a lot of time on the road.

Thank you for your input! I will reassess the schedule. Believe it or not I have already scaled it down some! LOL! There is so much to see it is really a difficult decision. Any other input is greatly appreciated.

What day are you arriving in Frankfurt? Someone might know of a festival or event that you might be able to take advantage of on your trip.

Let us know what airport you%26#39;re home from, that might be helpful to complete the loop. Are you leaving from Switzerland?

We are arriving in Frankfurt on 6/23 in the AM. We will be returning home from Zurich, Switzerland and are spending the last 3 days of our trip in Switzerland.
