eating and drinking in prenzaler berg

Hi all

I am heading to Berlin in June for a long weekend with friends.

We are all in our mid 20s and are staying in Prenzaler Berg - near Senderfeld subway station.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend an online guide or a magazine that can give tips on where to go for eating and drinking?

Also does a gig guide for Berlin exist? I would like to see a band while I am in town and don%26#39;t know where to search.

Hi, I can%26#39;t help with the guide/magazine, but I can recommend a restaurant in Prenzlauer Berg - Mao Thai, Wörther Straße 30.

Delicious, beautifully presented Thai food and friendly staff.

If it%26#39;s a nice sunny day you could go to the Prater Garten for drinks under the chestnut trees; though they appear to be rebuilding/extending the buildings around it, the big beer garden should still be open.
