We are arriving in the airport and then will spend four days in Munich, never leaving until we head back to the airport on the fourtn day to pick up our rental car. Since the Tour Card seems to be good for only three days, what should we do? Thanks for the advice!

what do want the card for?
You can buy transport tickets as you wish, so it seems you just use your Tour Card for whatever you wish, then buy a partnerkarte to get to Airport on day 4.
Unless you need it for discounts on day 4, in which case buy a 3 and a 1.
I%26#39;ve never used one, I admit, and simply buy transport tickets and pay full price for admissions.

Thanks. That is exactly what we were wondering. We were most interested in just transportation. None of the discounts really sound that great.

Hi:
I am thinking about buying City Tour Card because it gives 25% discount to many Day Trip Tour Companies. I would like to go to Salzburg and Inssbrook for example, and regular tour costs about 80 euro. Plus transportation pass around Munich and small discounts there and there... it sounds actually good. Can I buy this card directly in airport? Thank you!

If you worry about discounts, just don´t take a tour, go on your own. The train tickets o either will cost a lot less than 80 €. You can use Bavaria Ticket single for 19 € to get to Salzburg and back, or slightly more to get to Innsbruck (Bavaria Ticket until the border, then VVT tickets).

I will stay in Munchen for 5 days, and I%26#39;m not sure if I should get that card. I would only use it for transportation when I%26#39;m going to Dachau, Starnberger See and Schloss Nymphenburg (I am planning to use S-Bahns and U-Bahns for all of those), but I%26#39;m not sure those lines/stations are covered. I would also go to many museums like Deutches Museum, all three in the Museumviertel, Residenz, Bayerisches, etc... Does anyone have a list of everything that the pass covers so that I can do the math?
Many thanks!!
